Artist's Bio



Eric grew up in Houston, Texas and began exploring his artistic creativity at an early age. As a child, he began painting and drawing in several medias and was an avid art student throughout his school years. In his early teens his Father loaned him an old Olympus OM10 SLR and 2 lenses. Although he had owned various point and shoot cameras as a child, the SLR changed the way the thought about photography.

Fueled by an affinity for the outdoors and wonderful family trips, his journey as a photographer began. He was inspired by Texas photographers such as Laurence Parent, who's work frequently appeared in many of his favorite publications. Eric's parents supported and nurtured all of his artistic endeavors, including the photography.

After over 10 years as a professional graphic and web designer, he revived his passion for photography and began working professionally selling stock photos.
