James Rieley Gordon (August 2, 1863 – March 16, 1937) was a prominent architect of public buildings throughout the United States and particularly in Texas. Throughout his life, he designed hundreds of buildings, but is especially remembered for his outstanding courthouse buildings. Many of which are still standing and/or in operation today.
